Cradle type welding positioners are a specialised piece of equipment used to hold and manipulate a workpiece during welding operations. This type of positioner is designed to securely support and rotate the workpiece in various positions, allowing the welder to access different angles without having to manually adjust the workpiece.
Redrock’s cradle type positioners have multiple T-Grooves to secure any oversized workpiece, meaning your welders will be equipped with the tools to work on large, heavy or awkwardly shaped components.
Efficiency: The cradle design of our heavy-duty weld positioning equipment provides a dual support system allowing the automatic rotation, tilting and (depending on the load) lift and lower of overly large workpieces.
Control: All our cradles are provided with easy-to-use remote pendants to adjust torque and rotation speed with full 360-degree rotation, offering an ease of control that will enhance your welding processes. Weights from 5 tonnes to 250 tonnes can be supported, meaning our cradle type positioners (RTC type) are suitable for large, heavy and wide workpieces.
